For Recipients of Support:

Our service targets individuals 18 or older who are navigating through periods of loneliness, life changes, or mental health issues like anxiety or depression. Eligibility criteria include:

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Emotional and Mental Health Needs: Experiencing emotional stress, loneliness, or mental health problems.
• Interaction Guidelines: Willingness to interact respectfully and openly with volunteers.
• Privacy Agreement: Agreeing to abide by LifeChoice’s privacy practices and policies.

For Volunteers:

LifeChoice seeks compassionate and dedicated individuals eager to impact others’ lives positively. Requirements for volunteers are:

• Age and Skills: Individuals over 18 with strong communication and active listening skills.
• Training Program: Completion of a LifeChoice-designed training program, including crisis intervention techniques and an understanding of mental health care.
• Code of Conduct: Adherence to a code that respects the privacy and dignity of all individuals.
