Spiritual care focuses on the spiritual or religious beliefs of the patient. This type of care acknowledges the importance of a patient’s spirituality in their overall wellbeing and addresses their spiritual needs. Spiritual care can help patients find meaning, purpose, and hope in their situation. This can be done through listening, offering prayers, or connecting patients with chaplains or other religious leaders.
Navigating through items such as benefits, medicines, and equipment may be new and often scary. Our expert professionals are here to walk patients and their families through all of the details of hospice along with the lingering, end- of life questions that cause worry.
Bereavement counseling is a type of therapy that aims to help people who are dealing with grief and loss. Sometimes people who are grieving need to talk about their loss but are unable to find a safe space to do so. It is our goal to establish a relationship with all of our patients and their loved ones that allows those in need to feel comfortable to receive counseling or any necessary referrals.
